My name is Marta, and Euterpe Translations is my Italian to English translation project.

I translate works from Italian female poets into English, trying to communicate the beauty, force and power with which these authors utilise language.

I am not a professional translator, but I think translation is a beautiful practice.

Through this exercise, I hope to discover new, exciting poetry by female authors. If you have any suggestions or thoughts, at any point, please feel free to drop me a line!
